UI Bride Wedding Shoes

So by now you know that I love to educate (share beyond the surface level) and I'm not ashamed to say it -lol. So, I couldn't share this blog without giving you a little history of course. Did you know that heels were worn as far back as the 16th Century? Egyptians wore them as well. Catherine de Medici a Franco/Italian noblewomen pioneered the use of heels as a fashion statement. So ladies, we can thank her for starting the movement. Historians also say that, "She wore heels to make herself look taller or larger than life." I say we wear heels to compliment our fabulous outfits.

Danielle's Shoes | Fioni Here are some tips for wearing heels on your wedding day: 1. Don't forget to break-in your heels BEFORE the wedding day.

2. Don't wear the wrong shoes. Try them on and make sure you're comfortable.

3. Sneakers are okay - Don't feel obligated to wear heels.

4. If you're wearing open toed shoes, DON'T FORGET to get a pedicure. Bring the nail polish color with you in your Bridal Emergency Kit in case you accidentally chip your toe nail color.
