The weather had been fairly cold over the past several weeks, so while I am normally excited for all of my weddings, I was uber excited because there was no humidity. The weather was perfect. This wedding was also being featured on LoveStoriesTV Instagram Stories so it helped that I could walk around the venue and not break much of a sweat. I arrived early, as always, but also to capture some behind the scenes for the LoveStoriesTV Instagram Stories takeover, to take a look at the setup, and to keep an eye for the arrival of the Groomsmen, who eventually met me upstairs to kick-off their getting ready time. Nicole arrived shortly thereafter with some of her bridal party. She was all smiles and ready to see her future hubby for The First Look. Wedding Colors: Red and gold.
How They Meet & The Proposal (From The Bride): In Fall 2007, Dre was a recently high school graduate, and Nicole was in her senior year of high school. We met through a mutual friend and became friends ourselves. Through ongoing conversation was learned that we had a lot in common and our differences balanced each other. The first date: Andre invited her on a date, where his lack of a dependable car ended the date before it started. Let’s just say a policewomen had to help push the car out of the middle of the rode. Dre was persistent! He asked Nicole on another date where they watched a “The Simpson” movie at the Altamonte Mall and had dinner. The dinner conversation was lively with a lot of laughs and common interests. The Proposal:
On September 27, 2015, Dre planned a romantic dinner at Seasons 52 in Altamonte Springs. We were seated at a private, outside table that was decorated with red rose petals. We ordered dinner and had a normal conversation, but his demeanor was ‘off’. He was wanting for right moment until dessert was served with letter written in icing “Would you marry me?” At that moment, Dre went down on one knee and pop the question and Nicole ecstatically said “Yes!”
