Shalik and Kevin tied the knot at Noah's Events Venue in Lake Mary, Florida. The weather was a nice Florida day, not too hot, and with the lake right next to the venue it gave a nice little breeze. Shalik had her hair and makeup done off site surrounded by her bridal wedding party, while Kevin, his best-man, and groomsmen got ready at Noah's Events VenueDavid’s Bridal (Jewel Collection). She also wore a beautiful laced-shawl that complimented her gown. The Bridal room was full of laughs as Shalik's Mom helped her make final touches to her hair which was beautiful pinned up in a high side-ponytail. The ceremony space was perfectly set for this couple with hanging lanterns from the ceiling that were a nice warm light for to match the atmospheric desire for Shalik and Kevin. Kevin added a special Groom's touch to the setting with his gong. I thought this was totally cool and original - you know I love being yourself and Kevin did just that by incorporating this piece. . When I arrived at the main venue, Shalik was all smiles and ready to put on her beautiful Bridal gown from Kevin looked dapper in his black suit from Men's Warehouse complimented by red accents that perfectly matched Shalik's bouquet made by No1.Flowers.

Shalik and Kevin met in 2006 (back in the days of Myspace), when that was still relevant. Everything started when Shalik sent a shout out to all of her thousands of myspace friends for a free copy of the "Panic! At The Disco's A Fever You Can't Sweat Out" album. Out of all of her friends it was Kevin who was happy to oblige. From there they chatted regularly on myspace, Xanga, and Facebook. Eventually they took their conversations further and started talking on the phone in the evenings. They formed a bond that would only grow stronger after they discovered their shared love for alternative music, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and the TMNT coming out of our shells VHS.
